Keith Urban Reacts to Fan Calling Herself “Nicole” Amid Divorce from Nicole Kidman

Keith Urban Bursts into Laughter When Fan Reveals Her Name Is “Nicole” at Nashville Concert

During the closing night of his High and Alive World Tour at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on October 17, 2025, Keith Urban had a playful onstage moment when a fan told him her name was “Nicole.”

A clip shared by media agency Nashville Experience on Instagram captures the exchange. Urban crouches to ask the woman for her name; her reply is initially hard to hear through the mic, then she says, “It’s Nicole.” The singer reacted by theatrically dropping to the floor and raising his arm as the crowd erupted in laughter before he popped back up and carried on with the show.

The 57-year-old country star’s lighthearted interaction came less than three weeks after Nicole Kidman, 58, filed for divorce on September 30, 2025, citing marital difficulties and irreconcilable differences. The pair—who began dating in 2005 and wed in Sydney in 2006—are parents to two teenage daughters.

Urban’s playful moment followed a brief interruption to his tour schedule: he canceled the concert at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, on October 16, 2025, after experiencing several days of laryngitis. The arena posted that a longtime laryngologist had advised “complete vocal rest,” and Urban later apologized to fans, expressing regret for the cancellation and eagerness to reschedule.
