After photos of a shared kiss on a yacht circulated over the weekend, Katy Perry appears to be acknowledging the much-discussed reports linking her romantically with Justin Trudeau.
Speaking from the stage during her London show on Monday, October 13, 2025, the pop icon playfully addressed a fan’s sign that read, “Katy Perry will you marry me?”
Perry quipped that reports of her being single were news to her and teased that anyone interested should have inquired sooner — roughly two days earlier — before the images became public.
The photos emerged approximately 48 hours prior to the London concert and followed earlier sightings of the two dining together in Canada. Trudeau also attended Perry’s July concert in Montreal, adding to the public’s curiosity. (Source: People.)
Reacting to the moment at the show, Perry joked that someone was “just a little too late,” a comment that was shared widely on social platforms. A clip of the exchange circulated on TikTok shortly afterward. Watch the clip.
This apparent new relationship comes after Perry and Orlando Bloom announced a shift in their longtime partnership earlier this summer. The pair — who had an on-and-off relationship spanning roughly nine years — have committed to co-parenting their daughter, Daisy Dove.
At the time, representatives explained that Perry and Bloom had been moving toward a different arrangement over several months so they could concentrate on parenting. The statement emphasized that they would continue to appear together as a family while prioritizing stability and mutual respect in raising their child.
Trudeau, meanwhile, separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, in 2023; the couple share three children.
