Billboard senior music correspondent Katie Bain will discuss her newly released book, Desert Dreams: The Music, Style, and Allure of Coachella, during a Billboard Book Club livestream on Monday, October 27, 2025.

The book—published on October 21, 2025—traces Coachella’s evolution from a regional gathering in Indio, California, to a global cultural touchstone, examining the festival’s influence on music, fashion and the industry’s trends. Bain’s live, shoppable interview for Billboard Book Club will stream at 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT on Monday, and viewers will be able to purchase copies during the broadcast, including signed editions.

Billboard Book Club launched in April 2025 with a conversation featuring Geri Halliwell-Horner about her book Rosie Frost: Ice on Fire.
