KartRider Drift: Nexon's Korean Mario Kart Coming to PS4, State of Play Trailer

If there is one game that we did not expect during this State of Play, it is KartRider Drift, a kart game that borrows a lot from Mario Kart and which was announced in 2019 on PC and Xbox. One, for release in 2020. But a year later, Nexon’s title is still pending despite numerous beta-test sessions. Finally announced on PS4, KartRider Drift will be released on all platforms for 2022, knowing that the next beta-test session will be from December 9th and will end on the 15th of the same month. License unknown to the Western public, KartRider enjoys a fairly strong popularity in Asia and especially in South Korea, its country of origin, with more than 300 million players across the globe. In all cases, we find the formula of the famous racing game from Nintendo, with characters who roll in separate karts, items to be collected on the road to take advantage of bonuses or to smear their opponents. Obviously, anything is allowed, especially giggles.
