Jonas Brothers and Pharrell Williams to Perform at 2025 World Series Games 1 and 2

The World Series returns to Canada for the first time in 32 years: the Toronto Blue Jays will host the Los Angeles Dodgers at Rogers Centre, and Major League Baseball has enlisted Pharrell Williams with the Voices of Fire choir and the Jonas Brothers to perform during the opening weekend.

Ahead of Game 1 on Friday, October 24, 2025, Pharrell and Voices of Fire will present a brief, synthesized two-song set featuring selections from the choir’s OPHANIM album. The ensemble is also scheduled to perform both the U.S. and Canadian national anthems before the first pitch.

The Jonas Brothers will take the field the following evening — Saturday, October 25, 2025 — to perform “I Can’t Lose,” from their album Greetings From Your Hometown. The band said the appearance is a meaningful way to combine music with purpose through their partnership with Mastercard and support for Stand Up to Cancer, and noted their lifelong affinity for baseball.

The league first introduced Pharrell and Voices of Fire as part of its “October Hits Different” campaign, spotlighting music’s ability to bring communities together. Pharrell has emphasized how his Virginia roots shaped his view of music as a unifying force, and the postseason stage amplifies that message.

On the field, the Dodgers — led by stars such as Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts — are chasing consecutive championships, while Toronto aims to capture its first World Series title since 1993.

First pitch for both Game 1 and Game 2 is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025.
