Jeff Keighley Confirms Summer Game Fest 2026 Will Start in June

The host revealed that Summer Game Fest will return next year, bringing a surge of game premieres and fresh trailers.

Game presentations are now a near-constant — there are so many announcement events and showcases that they eventually spawned a festival devoted to them. It was that idea that led to the creation of Summer Game Fest a few years ago.

The inaugural festival took place in 2020, and the show is now officially making a comeback. Keighley says Summer Game Fest 2026 will be a standout event for the entire games industry.

Jeff Keighley announced the festival will kick off on June 5, 2026, in Los Angeles. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale in spring 2026.
