Jasper Ambrose Cast as Colin Creevey in Second Season of Harry Potter Series
The television adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will introduce viewers to new Hogwarts students.
Jasper Ambrose has been cast as Colin Creevey in the second season of HBO’s Harry Potter. The young actor previously appeared in Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy and Moominvalley.
The continuation of the series will adapt J.K. Rowling’s second book. Harry, Ron, and Hermione will return to school, where students will face attacks and a mysterious message will announce that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened. The main characters will also meet new students and teachers, including Colin Creevey, Gilderoy Lockhart—played by Kit Harington—and others.
The first season of Harry Potter is scheduled to premiere on December 25, 2026, on HBO and HBO Max. A release date for the second season has not yet been disclosed, but its premiere is expected no later than the second half of 2028.
