Jared Leto to Appear in Fortnite as Epic Games Prepares ‘Tron: Ares’ Collaboration

Fortnite’s creators typically jump on high-profile pop-culture releases, and the franchise’s return with Tron after 15 years appears to be no exception.

Well-known Fortnite insider HYPEX reports that a crossover tied to the sci-fi film ‘Tron: Ares’, slated to hit theaters on October 10, will soon arrive in the game.

According to the source, as soon as October 7 — that is, today — Fortnite will receive a themed Ares program outfit based on Jared Leto’s likeness. The outfit will come in several variants: with the helmet, with a transparent visor, and without the helmet. In addition, the update is said to include two new emotes, a glider, harvesting tools and other items inspired by the film’s aesthetic.

Epic Games has not officially confirmed the crossover yet, but an announcement is anticipated shortly.
