Japanese-Style Drifting: JDM — Japanese Drift Master Comes to Xbox and PS5 with New DLC

Following its May PC launch, Gaming Factory’s JDM: Japanese Drift Master is set to arrive on Xbox Series X/S on November 21, 2025. A PlayStation 5 edition is planned for release in the first quarter of 2026.

The game unfolds in Guntame, a region inspired by the island of Honshu. The narrative follows Thomas, who travels from Europe to Japan and inherits his late father’s garage. Together with Hideo, he is drawn into the underground street-racing scene, customizes his car, and clashes with rivals across several chapters presented in manga-style panels.

One of the game’s highlights is an expansive open world stretching over 250 km, featuring dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and a variety of side activities. The initial release didn’t make a major impact, but subsequent patches have improved performance and addressed numerous bugs.

In November a paid DLC titled Made in USA will be released, introducing six American-style muscle cars and 30 additional tuning parts. Further release details will be announced in the coming weeks.
