Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in an upcoming Netflix action feature titled Kill Switch, according to a report from Deadline.
Industry insiders are likening the project to gritty cinematic hits such as Denis Villeneuve’s Sicario and Michael Mann’s Collateral. While specific plot details and a director have yet to be announced, Harrison Query (Heads of State) is attached to pen the script.
The actor has a busy slate ahead; before the year is out, he is expected to appear in his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride!, Guy Ritchie’s latest action flick In the Grey, and the romantic sci-fi project Remnant, produced by M. Night Shyamalan.
