Sam Beam has introduced a deluxe vinyl reissue of Iron & Wine’s 2004 album Our Endless Numbered Days. Celebrating the LP’s 15th anniversary, the brand new version comes with eight beforehand unreleased demos, new paintings, and a booklet that includes liner notes from Pitchfork contributor Amanda Petrusich. Below, hearken to the demo model of “Passing Afternoon.” The reissue is out March 22 by way of Sub Pop.
Along with the reissue, Beam will carry out Our Endless Numbered Days in its entirety at three particular concert events, backed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
