Iron Galaxy Apologizes to Fallout: New Vegas Fans Who Thought the Studio Was Making a Remaster

The long-standing anticipation for modernized versions of Fallout 3 and New Vegas continues to build.

Iron Galaxy Studios recently sparked a wave of excitement among the Fallout community after a photograph from an internal studio gathering surfaced on social media.

The image revealed monitors displaying the iconic “Please Stand By” test pattern—a visual synonymous with the Fallout franchise. Given the studio’s pedigree for handling high-profile ports, including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, fans were quick to draw conclusions.

This discovery breathed new life into the persistent rumors that the developer might finally be working on the long-sought-after remaster of Fallout: New Vegas.

However, Iron Galaxy Studios has since addressed the speculation with a formal denial. The studio clarified that they are simply massive enthusiasts of the series, and the use of the thematic screensaver was merely a tribute within their office walls rather than a hint at an upcoming project.
