Iron Galaxy Apologizes to Fallout: New Vegas Fans Who Thought the Studio Was Making a Remaster
The wait for remastered editions of Fallout 3 and New Vegas continues to build.
Iron Galaxy Studios recently sparked intense speculation among the Fallout community following a social media post featuring a photograph from an internal team gathering.
Background monitors in the image displayed the iconic “Please Stand By” screensaver—a visual synonymous with the Fallout franchise. This observation quickly gained traction, given the studio’s established reputation for handling high-profile ports like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.
This discovery fueled theories that the team might be secretly developing the long-rumored remaster of Fallout: New Vegas.
However, Iron Galaxy Studios has since issued a clarification to temper expectations. They explained that their staff are simply avid fans of the series, and the use of the themed graphics was merely an internal nod to the franchise rather than a hint at an upcoming project.
