inZOI fans target The Sims 4 community — accused of jealousy and tag sabotage on Steam

The impromptu clash among life-simulation enthusiasts continues.

Recently a supporter of inZOI raised the alarm after noticing the game had been assigned a tag on Steam — some believe this was a deliberate move by fans of The Sims 4.

The poster maintains that Sims 4 fans are simply envious, arguing their own game is in a “sorry state”:

“inZOI was labeled ‘sexual content.’ Steam tags are created by users. A ‘sexual content’ tag could seriously harm inZOI by reducing its visibility, and the poster insists the overzealous Sims 4 fanbase is to blame, since their beloved game is in a poor condition. Everyone reading this post — visit inZOI’s Steam page, click the ‘+’ to suggest a new tag, and choose ‘Family Friendly’.”

The poster adds that inZOI contains no sexual material — if anything, it has less than The Sims 4 — so the tag was applied unfairly.
