International Film Market and ‘Russian Film Business’ Forum 2025/26 Underway

The International Film Market and Forum “Russian Film Business 25/26” has opened in Moscow.

This major industry event traditionally gathers more than 2,000 film professionals from Russia, the CIS and other countries. The forum will serve as a platform to discuss trends, devise development strategies, and present exclusive resources, content, promotional campaigns and film screenings.

The venue is the Cinema Park Mosfilm cine-concert complex. Over three days there will be presentations and screenings from leading Russian and CIS distributors, the #Poisk project market, an exhibition and a business programme.

Leading distributors — including NMG Kinoprokat, Atmosfera Kino, Global Film, Karo Premier, Exponenta Film and others — will present their content and screen films.

The market will feature the fairy tale “Buratino,” a screen adaptation of “Prostokvashino,” and the sequel to the comedy “Za Palycha!”. A series of industry screenings for distributors, content curators from online cinemas, broadcasters and other digital media is also planned.

Organizers say the market’s core objectives are to support the growth of the Russian film industry, showcase national and international content on the Russian market, and facilitate the promotion of Russian and foreign productions across the CIS, among other aims.
