“Imperfect Women” to Get a Second Season
Apple TV has officially greenlit a second season of the series Imperfect Women, as reported by Variety.
The upcoming episodes will center on Eleanor, portrayed by Kerry Washington, who returns to her home on Martha’s Vineyard, where she discovers that the island’s polished facade conceals a web of dark secrets.
Imperfect Women premiered on the streaming platform this past March, drawing inspiration from Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name. The series features an ensemble cast, including Elizabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) and Kate Mara (House of Cards). Despite its star power, the show received a lukewarm reception from critics, currently holding a 45% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
