Hype Trailer for Battlefield 6 Criticized — Gamers Upset over Streamer Cameos

The new Battlefield 6 promo didn’t sit well with everyone.

In an earlier Battlefield 6 trailer the team outright poked fun at Call of Duty’s marketing — the clip begins with a group of celebrities who are promptly taken out by a rocket.

But in a more recent Battlefield 6 promo they apparently repeated the same mistake attributed to CoD — the hype trailer features a montage of streamers, which provoked a strong negative response within the community.

sys_admin321 commented: “I can’t stand all this influencer and streamer nonsense. It’s outright disgusting. A bunch of ‘content creators’ churning out poor-quality videos for views. No thanks. I’ve never seen the appeal.”

WillianJohnam92 wrote: “These streamers are like the four guys who get killed in the live-action trailer. Nobody cares about them.”
