Husband-And-Wife Duo Releases Diablo-Inspired Incremental Game Demo With 98 Percent Positive Steam Reviews

The developers of Horde of Distraction are satisfied with the results of the game testing.

Static Feed, a studio consisting of a married couple, released a PC demo for Horde of Distraction on Steam earlier this year. Now, they have decided to share preliminary results.

Happy_Amoeba_ reported that the game has attracted more than 27,000 players. Some of them left reviews for the demo, of which 98% are positive, and the project’s creators “cannot believe” such an outcome.

Horde of Distraction is positioned as an incremental game inspired by classic RPGs. The developers note the well-known ARPG franchise Diablo among their sources of inspiration, and its influence is visible in the visual design of the game.

The player simply needs to hover the cursor over enemies or environmental elements, and damage will be dealt automatically. The earned gold can be used to purchase stat upgrades in the skill tree. Monsters drop equipment of varying rarity, which affects character statistics. Players will encounter not only regular mob battles but also full-fledged boss fights.

You can add Horde of Distraction to your Steam wishlist via the following link. The developers have not yet specified an exact release date or release window.

A separate Steam page has been opened for the Horde of Distraction demo, which can be found here.
