Hey, Buy This: Bethesda Is Advertising Paid Skyrim Mods Created by Community Members
Bethesda regularly releases Creations mods that rival official DLC in scope.
Bethesda Game Studios recently broke its silence on the Steam community hub for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. The team posted a new announcement in late June, ending a gap that started in March.
The developers highlighted several premium Creations. DarthVitrial created Heart of the Mountain, which features professionally voiced characters, nearly 70 unique quests, and 20 radiant tasks. This mod focuses on Argonian lore and ancient deities.
Kinggath Creations developed Sigil of the Fallen. This mod introduces a fresh storyline and a companion who mimics the appearance, memories, and voices of other characters. Players spend their time tracking spirits across the game world.
Tinuvia designed A Secret Beneath the Ice. It adds ice-themed dungeons for players to explore, complete with new bosses and rewards.
The full announcement remains available on the official Steam page. Based on user comments, many players remain skeptical of the focus on paid modifications.
Bethesda Game Studios continues development on The Elder Scrolls VI. The studio has no release date yet and acknowledges that the project has taken a long time to complete.
