On October 9 the Heroes of Might and Magic series marks its 30th anniversary. To celebrate, Ubisoft will host a special livestream — it begins Thursday at 19:00 Moscow time. The company is expected to announce the release date for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era during the broadcast.
Previously, Ubisoft revealed that Olden Era, slated for release in 2025, has already been added to the Steam wishlist by more than 750,000 users. That achievement pushed the project to the top spot among turn-based strategies on the platform.
In a recent video, developers at Unfrozen showcased the spectator mode for multiplayer matches and demonstrated how the map is explored and new sites are discovered. Olden Era will include both classic points of interest familiar to longtime fans and a wealth of new locations created specifically for this project.
Developers describe Olden Era as the official prequel to Heroes of Might and Magic. Ubisoft says it will share more details during the anniversary stream.
