Hudson Williams, the breakout star of the acclaimed series Heated Rivalry, made a striking transition from the screen to the catwalk this Friday (Jan. 16). Opening the Dsquared2 Fall 2026 show in Milan, the actor’s modeling debut was underscored by a contemporary, A.I.-reimagined version of Carly Simon’s anthem, “Let the River Run.”

With the 2026 Winter Olympics set to commence next month in Milan and Cortina, Dsquared2 centered its latest collection on the high-octane aesthetic of winter sports. The presentation served as the grand finale for the inaugural day of Milan Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2026.

The 15-minute runway event utilized a diverse suite of remixes based on Simon’s original composition. The show’s opening segments featured a fusion of orchestral and rock elements, currently available on digital streaming platforms under the title “Running on the Water.” The track is attributed to various aliases, including Kradex and Da Soul Orchestra. Notably, the streaming service Deezer has tagged the release with an “AI-generated content” disclaimer. On YouTube, Da Soul Orchestra openly acknowledges their creative process, stating they employ artificial intelligence to breathe new life into iconic musical masterpieces.

Carly Simon originally composed “Let the River Run” for the 1988 cinematic classic Working Girl, which featured Harrison Ford and Melanie Griffith. The song, which serves as the film’s emotional anchor, earned Simon both an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award. Historically, the track achieved significant commercial success, reaching No. 11 on the Adult Contemporary charts and No. 49 on the Billboard Hot 100.

As Milan Fashion Week continues through Jan. 20, industry insiders are speculating whether Williams’ Heated Rivalry castmate, Connor Storrie, will also make an appearance. While rumors circulated that Storrie might debut for Dolce & Gabbana, his representatives have currently denied any scheduled runway participation.
