Blizzard have introduced they plan to crack open a chilly one (a tomb) with the boys (the League Of Explorers) on September 17th with the launch of Hearthstone‘s next singleplayer adventure, the Tombs Of Terror. As is the way of Adventures, it’ll ship us by way of a gauntlet of battles and constructing our deck with new playing cards and new powers alongside the best way. This time, it’s the Plague Lords we’ll be giving a kicking – and we’ll be multiclassing as we do it.
We’ll enterprise into the Tombs Of Terror a League Of Explorer hero, every of whom has playing cards and powers from two courses. Elise Starseeker is a Priest/Druid, Brann Bronzebeard a Warrior/Hunter, Sir Finley Mrrglton a Paladin/Shaman, and Reno Jackson a Rogue/Mage. Here’s Hearthstone game designer Ryan Collins to elucidate the way it all works:
The Tombs Of Terror will open on September 17th, with the primary chapter sending us into the Lost City Of The Tol’vir to duff up a Murloc Plague Lord as Reno Jackson. The second, third, and forth chapters will observe over a number of weeks, beating up a brand new Plague Lord with a brand new hero then main right into a remaining battle. While decks we construct are ephemeral, solely used for that run, the everlasting rewards are bonus card packs.
Only the primary chapter will probably be free. The different three could be unlocked for 700 in-game gold or $7 actual cash, or it’s £17/$15 (excuse me, change charges?) for all of them in a bundle.
I don’t actually play Hearthstone however I do swing by to take a look at the Adventures. I just like the dungeon crawl format, the bizarre instructions decks with rule-changing treasures, so certain I’ll go wreck some fishmen free of charge.
