In June, the Prince property introduced Piano & A Microphone 1983, a previously-unreleased stay album that captures one of many Purple One’s solo rehearsals, recorded at his house in Minnesota. The announcement got here with the discharge of Prince’s tackle “Mary Don’t You Weep,” which was featured in Spike Lee’s movie BlacKkKlansman. Now, his solo piano model of beloved B-side “17 Days” has been launched as properly. Take a hear beneath.
“17 Days” was the B-side to Prince’s Purple Rain single “When Doves Cry.” Piano & A Microphone: 1983 is out September 21.
