Lights, camera, action. Harry Styles transforms into a cinematic leading man in the newly unveiled music video for “American Girls,” the latest visual centerpiece from his sophomore-era project, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.

Released on Friday (March 6), the video opens with a meta-commentary on Hollywood stardom. Styles is seen perched atop a stationary motorcycle, his vibrant yellow tie fluttering in the artificial breeze of a studio fan while a digital backdrop simulates the open road. The narrative quickly ramps up, showcasing the singer performing various high-octane stunts: precision driving beneath a flaming tractor-trailer and a dramatic sprint across a sun-scorched desert just as an explosion erupts behind him.

“I’ve known you for ages, it’s all that I’ve heard / My friends are in love with American girls,” Styles croons. The visuals cleverly alternate between the grit of the film set and the polished “final product,” emphasizing the thin line between staged performance and reality. “I’ve seen it in stages all over the world / My friends are in love with American girls.”

This latest cinematic offering arrived just hours after the full release of Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The 12-track LP includes the global smash “Aperture,” which previously secured the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 following its high-energy, dance-centric debut in January.

The rollout continues tonight with an exclusive, one-night-only performance at Manchester’s Co-op Live. For those unable to attend the UK show, a Netflix concert film capturing the event is scheduled to premiere in just two days. These events serve as the grand opening for Styles’ upcoming “Together, Together” world tour, which is set to commence this May.
