Harry Styles’ partnership with HeadCount during his 30-date Madison Square Garden residency resulted in 33,284 new voter registrations and 108,061 voter actions ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections, the nonpartisan organization reports.
HeadCount defines voter actions as activities such as checking registration status, signing up for election alerts or volunteering with the organization.
“Harry’s fans arrive ready to make their voices heard,” HeadCount executive director Lucille Wenegieme said in a statement. “On Night 5, one fan sought out our booth on her 18th birthday to register the moment she was eligible. With Election Day [Nov. 3], our focus is making sure every fan we met at the Garden has what they need to cast their ballot securely and on time.”
HeadCount set up co-branded tables in high-traffic concourses at New York’s Madison Square Garden and displayed voter messages on the video boards. Volunteers traveled from places including Florida, Tennessee and Ecuador to staff the effort, giving fans special-edition Together, Together voting postcards in exchange for taking part.
The residency extended an existing collaboration between Styles and HeadCount that has generated 90,992 new voter registrations and 319,901 actions in total. In 2022, Styles’ “Good to Vote” campaign registered more than 54,000 fans, breaking HeadCount’s record for an artist-driven campaign.
The latest campaign ran throughout the Together, Together residency, from Aug. 26 through the closing “Harryween” show on Oct. 31. Fans nationwide could also participate through HeadCount’s “Good to Vote” Harryween sweepstakes.
At the final show of the record-breaking residency, Styles dressed as New York’s “Pizza Rat.” New York Knicks captain and 2026 NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson presented him with a commemorative banner during the show.
