Halle Berry accused of child abuse

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is facing serious allegations of child abuse, according to recent media reports.

The lawsuit was filed by Berry’s ex-husband, Olivier Martinez. He alleges that Berry subjected their 12-year-old son, Maceo, to physical abuse over several years. According to his testimony, the most recent incident occurred in late September, when he claims Berry “pounced on him, grabbed him by the neck, and choked him.”

Martinez has also requested a restraining order against the actress to keep her away from their son. Berry’s attorney, Marina Beck, dismissed the claims as baseless and deceptive:

There is a wealth of evidence, including numerous court orders, demonstrating that Olivier Martinez has repeatedly violated judicial rulings and interfered with essential therapeutic and educational support for his minor son, Maceo, to the detriment of both the child and Halle Berry. Mr. Martinez is already facing legal consequences for these transgressions.

Berry and Martinez were married from 2013 to 2016. The actress also has a daughter, Nahla, from a previous relationship with model Gabriel Aubry.
