Hades 2 has climbed back up the Steam charts and sparked renewed interest.
Earlier reports noted that Supergiant Games is celebrating the successful release of version 1.0. The title has exited early access and earned outstanding reviews. It holds an average score of 9.2 out of 10 on OpenCritic, and 96% of recent reviews on Steam are positive.
The game’s success quickly translated into revenue: Hades 2 claimed third place among Steam’s top-grossing games, surpassing titles such as Dying Light: The Beast, Silent Hill f, and Borderlands 4.
At the same time, the game registered a strong concurrent player count: at peak, 89,000 players were online simultaneously — and that was before the weekend. All signs indicate the concurrent number will easily exceed 100,000 over Saturday and Sunday.
