GTA VI Collector’s Edition Resold at Markup Despite Availability on Rockstar Site

Resellers are already attempting to flip the $400 GTA VI collector’s edition on eBay for $600 to $1,500, even though the package does not include the game itself.

Rockstar Games priced the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection at $400. The bundle includes a 15-centimeter alligator figurine, a collector’s spoon, and other items, but the GTA VI game is not part of the set. The bundle can still be ordered without any issues directly on the official Rockstar website.

This has not stopped sellers on eBay from listing the items. Prices start at around $600, with some sellers asking $800 and the most absurd offers exceeding $1,500.

The situation is particularly strange because the product is not in short supply. The collector’s edition is still being sold directly through Rockstar for $400, meaning buyers currently have no reason to overpay for the set secondhand.

This time, scalpers appear to be targeting inattentive GTA VI fans.
