“Survival at Ludendorff Cemetery” is incredibly popular. According to stats.gtao.gg, 400,000 players played the new mode on the first day, and by 48 hours, by noon on Saturday, it reached 900,000. Tez2 compares these numbers with the results of other activities in GTA Online:
- “ATT-16 Aircraft Carrier Assault” — 900,000 in 37 days;
- “Cayo Perico Heist” — in 25 days;
- “Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid” — in 13 days;
- “The Last Dose” — in 6 days.
Currently, the total number of unique players in the new event has surpassed 1 million people! Even the developers, who launched the community challenge to kill 80 million zombies, did not foresee such interest. It turned out that by yesterday evening, 200 million walking dead had already been destroyed! This forced the “rock stars” to increase the required number of undead to be eliminated to 800,000,000. The counter on the official game website has also been updated.
The promised “Red Skull in a Hood” mask and orange glowing “Skeleton” pajamas will be distributed in the coming days, and for meeting the new condition, two more pajamas in purple and green colors will be given as rewards.
Yesterday, the GTA.com.ua team, consisting of four members (BubLik, Driver, Jarone, and OPla G), contributed by destroying over 3,000 zombies. The wave we managed to survive was the 27th.
