GTA Online to Add Community Mission Series and a Special Fan Job
Back in August of last year, Rockstar expanded the GTA Online landscape by bifurcating the Community Series into two distinct tracks: the Combat Community Series and the Community Race Series. Following the introduction of the robust Mission Creator tool last December, the emergence of a third pillar—the Community Mission Series—felt like a natural evolution.
The developers have now made it official: this new category debuts on Thursday, April 30, alongside a fresh bonus-packed week. The inaugural offering, “Old School Hits,” serves as a nostalgic homage to the original GTA: Trilogy and was crafted in partnership with the acclaimed community channel GTA Series Videos. Note that this launch mission will only be available for a limited duration.
To mark the grand opening, Rockstar is granting quadruple rewards—a massive 4× boost to both GTA$ and RP. Currently, this content is optimized exclusively for next-generation platforms, meaning players on PC Enhanced, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S will be the first to experience these community-driven missions.
Aspiring creators looking to get their work in the spotlight must remember to attach the tag #communityseries when publishing their creations through the Creator tool.
Those whose ingenuity lands them a spot in the official rotation will be handsomely rewarded with an exclusive package:
- Community Series Varsity Jacket
- Spotlight Mansion Trophy
- A grand prize of GTA$ 10,000,000
