GTA Online: Anti-Cheat Update and Closure of YimMenu Today at 21:00 by OPla G10

A small patch (447 MB on EGS) for PC has made it more difficult for cheaters to occupy host slots, reports Tez2. At the same time, it has been revealed that another cheat program for GTA Online has been shut down. As its creators claim, YimMenu was removed from GitHub at the request of Take-Two Interactive.

The free YimMenu was popular among dishonest players and, according to some reports, could bypass the BattlEye anti-cheat protection, which was added a week ago. This likely caught the attention of the rights holder, whose representative, however, cited the use of the game’s source code as the reason for the strike. The DMCA forces the cheat authors to cease their activities.
