Jeff Keighley has unveiled the nominees for The Game Awards 2025 across every category except the Players’ Choice award. For the second consecutive year, Grand Theft Auto VI has been shortlisted for Most Anticipated Game. It was not only nominated in 2024 but also clinched the award then, long before its release was first deferred from this autumn to next spring and later to the following fall.
Notably, this year’s new release, Mafia: The Old Country, failed to secure a nomination.
Fans can cast their votes for Grand Theft Auto VI and the other contenders on the official site. The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on December 11.
