GTA 6 to Feature Music by Neon Indian and Panama

It appears that musicians collaborating with Rockstar Games operate under significantly more relaxed non-disclosure agreements—if any at all—compared to the studio’s voice actors. This trend is the only logical explanation for why yet another artist has teased their involvement in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI. While fans are often skeptical of claims from outsiders like T-Pain or Drake, it is a different matter entirely when the information comes from “Rockstar veterans” like ScHoolboy Q. Now, two more established names have essentially confirmed their return to the fold.

Neon Indian

Alan Palomo, the visionary behind Neon Indian, recently shared some intriguing insights on the This Podcast Should Be Played Loud. Reflecting on his history with Rockstar—which he lauded as his finest experience in music licensing—Palomo indicated that their creative partnership is ongoing. While he remained tight-lipped about the specifics due to confidentiality, his comments point directly toward a new contribution for the next chapter of the series. It remains to be seen exactly how his signature sound will be integrated into the Vice City atmosphere.

Neon Indian is already a familiar name to GTA V players, with two standout tracks featured on Radio Mirror Park. The first, “Change of Coast,” became an iconic part of the franchise as the primary theme for the GTA Online launch, even appearing on the game’s official soundtrack album.

His second track, “Polish Girl,” joined the airwaves with the title’s jump to PS4 and Xbox One, remaining a staple in every subsequent enhanced edition of the game.

Panama

The Australian band Panama also appears to have let the secret slip. On their official Instagram page, the group responded to a fan’s query by confirming that “Back To Life”—their collaborative track with Poolside—is set to feature in GTA VI. Although the comment was promptly scrubbed from the platform, eagle-eyed fans managed to capture the exchange before it vanished.

Just like Neon Indian, Panama has a history with the series; their melodic track “Always” is a fan-favorite highlight of the Radio Mirror Park playlist in Los Santos.
