GTA 6: The Fateful Number 27, or a New Theory from Fans

Employees at all Rockstar studios traditionally receive Christmas gifts at the end of the year. It’s always something new (highly valued in personal collections of fans, as it never reaches the virtual shelves of the official store), and this week, employees received their presents. In a paper bag bearing the R* symbol, there was a fabric tote bag and an umbrella in the signature Knuckleduster design, as well as a black sweatshirt with “Rockstar Games” written in the colors of the first image of GTA 6. Photos of the set have already appeared on social media X (formerly Twitter).

However, one photo sparked a new theory about the release of the second trailer for GTA 6. Desperate fans noticed a note visible at the bottom of a photo of a mission designer at Rockstar North. Apparently, the note details an upcoming vacation in the state of Florida, planned for the 27th (1227). It mentions a hotel in Orlando and contacts for a car dealership operating under the name 27. About two kilometers to the west of this establishment, fans found a Jason’s Deli, and to the east, a Waffle House, which closely resembles the one Lucia and Jason robbed in the leaked gameplay videos from two years ago. For further evidence, they included the Villa Lucia apartment complex, although it’s located almost across the city.

Fans have grasped onto the number 27, seeing it everywhere: in the sum of the numbers on the new police car plates, on the side of a helicopter (though this screenshot might be quite old), and even at the 27th second of the first trailer (note the pink car), and many other places. In short, a real paranoia has begun reminiscent of the movie “The Number 23” (2007) with Jim Carrey, and now some seriously believe that GTA 6 will be shown again next Friday, December 27th.

However, we suggest paying attention to the day before. Why did the developers extend the festive week in GTA Online by two weeks instead of splitting it up as usual? Are they preparing something special, or did they simply start their holidays a bit early? Nevertheless, this is all just speculation—don’t expect anything specific.
