GTA 6 Expected to Launch on PC in First Quarter of 2027

Grand Theft Auto VI could arrive on PC as early as the first quarter of 2027, according to a report from GamesBeat.

GamesBeat cited four sources familiar with the plans for GTA 6 who wished to remain anonymous to avoid jeopardizing their relationships with Rockstar Games. The company did not respond when asked to confirm whether this was the case.

Following a successful console launch, the game is expected to make its way to PC, continuing the trend set by previous titles. Based on that track record, the wait could span a year, a year and a half, or even longer.

It remains difficult to determine how realistic this timeline is, particularly because nothing is known about the GTA VI multiplayer component. That feature is expected to become the next priority after the game launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. For now, a PC release just four months after the console launch appears to be an overly ambitious target.
