GTA 6 Cover Art Revealed and Pre-Order Date Confirmed
After more than a year of radio silence, the developers have finally broken their hiatus regarding GTA 6. It has been officially confirmed that pre-orders will commence exactly one week from today, on June 25.
This upcoming date will clarify the game’s pricing structure and the various editions available for purchase. Industry anticipation is mounting, with many expecting the marketing campaign to ignite within the next seven days—speculation is currently rife among fans regarding the potential release of a third trailer this coming Tuesday. These developments strongly signal that the studio is on track and that no further delays are expected.
Rockstar has also pulled back the curtain on the official cover art for Grand Theft Auto VI. The reveal was accompanied by a punchy teaser video featuring a track that is widely believed to be the game’s primary musical theme.
The new artwork spotlights the two main protagonists, Raul Bautista and Boobie Ike, alongside an assortment of vehicles and two creatures synonymous with the Leonida setting: an alligator and a flamingo. Rockstar has paid homage to its own heritage by maintaining long-standing cover art traditions, including the inclusion of a Sea Sparrow helicopter in the upper-left corner and the classic “cover girl” aesthetic. A notable refinement is the logo’s color palette, which has been tweaked to pop with increased contrast against the vibrant background.
While all nine of the newly unveiled artworks are fresh, only the centerpiece image featuring the protagonists is currently available in high-resolution across various formats.
The official GTA VI portal has also undergone a facelift, featuring a restructured layout, fresh content, and an atmospheric new teaser.
Furthermore, Rockstar Games has refreshed its digital footprint, updating its social media avatars to reflect the distinct, vibrant color scheme associated with the upcoming title.
