GTA 6 Co-Writer Teases Another Track for the Game

Speculation surrounding the GTA 6 soundtrack has intensified, with whispers suggesting that David Allan Coe’s country anthem, “Need a Little Time off for Bad Behavior,” may be slated for the game’s official audio lineup.

This potential inclusion surfaced when Bobby Keel, the track’s co-writer and composer, shared the news via his Facebook page. Shortly after, however, he deleted the update—a move likely prompted by the realization that Rockstar Games maintains a notoriously strict policy regarding the unauthorized disclosure of project details. Whether Keel was simply a victim of genuine excitement or if he was strategically leveraging the hype to drive traffic to his catalog remains a matter of debate.

Regardless of the origin of the leak, the song feels like a natural fit. Its gritty, Southern charm would harmonize seamlessly with a country-focused radio station, further grounding the immersive, retro-inspired aesthetic of GTA 6 and its deep connection to the spirit of Vice City.
