GTA 6: Are Fresh Updates on the Way?

Tonight, just after midnight, it will be exactly 500 days since we first watched the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. Since then, the developers have not shared any official news about GTA 6. However, this might change very soon.

It’s one of two possibilities. Either the release scheduled for the fall is not being delayed, which means the marketing campaign should commence shortly. However, even this does not guarantee anything, as delays may still occur. Nonetheless, we hope Rockstar Games has learned from the false start of the GTA 5 ad campaign. It was initially planned for spring 2013, and promotional materials were even printed, but then postponed to September.

The other possibility is that a delay announcement is imminent and could appear as soon as the next month. This is because, in four weeks, late on May 15th, Take-Two will hold its next quarterly financial report. If the highly anticipated game needs more time, investors will be informed then. We might learn even earlier since Rockstar tends to make important announcements before such events. If no announcement is made, the chances greatly increase that in about six months, we may see the release we desire, and the upcoming summer could indeed be a sizzling one.
