Next Tuesday, March 4, all PC owners of GTA 5 and GTA Online will receive a free game update, upgrading it to the next-gen version. Due to this, the developers have started some preparations.
Last Thursday, on the day of announcement, it was revealed that the new client for those upgrading has appeared on Steam. Meanwhile, in the Rockstar Games Launcher, the regular build has been renamed to Grand Theft Auto V Legacy.
Later, we learned that the updated version will be listed as GTA V Enhanced, and RGL will undergo several changes, including the addition of FiveM, GTA+, and linking it with a dedicated Discord server.
A reminder that players also need to prepare if they want to enjoy all the technical improvements. This requires ensuring their hardware meets the system requirements.
