Despite some issues and mixed reviews, the GTA 5 Enhanced re-release of the nearly 12-year-old game became one of the most profitable new releases (excluding expansions and game services) in March on Steam.
According to estimates by the analytical agency GameDiscoverCo, Grand Theft Auto V ranked seventh, bringing in $9.2 million. It should be noted that it was available for sale for less than four weeks, since March 4, and for the first half of the month, it was sold with a 50% discount. For comparison: the newest Assassin’s Creed Shadows earned $33.8 million in just seven days.
