For the uninitiated: nightcore refers to a distinct segment sub-genre of remixes and edits that’s characterised by its chipmunk-ed vocals and excessive tempos. The title originates from a Norwegian DJ duo referred to as Nightcore that was energetic within the early 2000s. Grimes’ most up-to-date full-length album Art Angels was launched in 2015.
