The 24th Golden Eagle Awards ceremony recently took place in Moscow, honoring the most distinguished achievements in contemporary cinema.
The prestigious Best Feature Film award was bestowed upon August, directed by Nikita Vysotsky and Ilya Lebedev. The film also secured the Best Actor title for its central trio: Sergey Bezrukov, Nikita Kologrivy, and Pavel Tabakov.
The evening’s primary frontrunner was the musical biopic Prophet: The Story of Alexander Pushkin, which dominated the night with seven wins. Additionally, Alexander Adabashyan was presented with a special honorary award for his enduring impact on Russian cinematography.
