In the wake of the ELEAGUE Major (congratulations Astralis!), we’re making a change to the map pool: Inferno has returned to Active Duty, changing Dust II, and will likely be featured on the subsequent CS:GO Major. As previously, the up to date Active Duty pool is routinely chosen while you enter Matchmaking.*

And in Casual and Deathmatch recreation modes, it’s now a bit simpler to play your favourite maps. Map teams have been separated into further classes: Active Duty, Hostage, Reserves, and Dust II.

*(don’t fear, it’s simply as simple as ever to play Dust II. It’s now entrance and middle on the Competitive Matchmaking map choice display screen)
