The film cites Tom Cruise’s “Risky Business” and Emma Stone’s “Easy A” as its chief reference points. Precise plot details remain under wraps.
Powell will also produce the picture. He recently appeared in the Hulu comedy series “Chad Powers.” In February, the actor is slated to appear in the thriller “Heir.”
