Glen Powell, star of the upcoming The Running Man, has been cast in the lead role for the highly anticipated sci-fi feature Tesseract. The film is written and directed by Sam Esmail, the visionary mind behind the hit series Mr. Robot.
While specific plot details are currently under wraps, Amazon MGM Studios is set to bring the film to the big screen. A definitive release date has yet to be established.
Fans can soon see Powell in the comedic thriller The Heir, which is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 5. Esmail’s most recent project, the psychological thriller Leave the World Behind, debuted on Netflix in 2023.
