Nicola Roberts Welcomes First Child With Fiancé Mitch Hahn

Singer-songwriter Nicola Roberts has officially shared the heartwarming news that she has welcomed her first child into the world.

The 40-year-old former Girls Aloud star took to social media this Sunday, May 24, to announce the arrival of a baby girl, shared with her fiancé, Mitch Hahn.

“Our beautiful baby girl has arrived,” Roberts posted on Instagram alongside a series of touching portraits of her newborn. “We find ourselves constantly mesmerized by her perfect features and can’t stop showering her with love.”

She continued, “Our little one made her grand entrance a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks, weighing in at 6.5lbs. She is healthy, happy, and absolutely thriving. It truly feels like heaven on earth, and we are still pinching ourselves that she is finally here.”

The announcement featured intimate glimpses into the couple’s new life, including tender photos of Roberts cradling her infant and a shot of Hahn carefully carrying their baby.

Industry friends and fans were quick to share their joy. Bandmate Nadine Coyle offered her warmest congratulations, as did Sophie Ellis-Bextor and recent mother-of-two Perrie Edwards, who welcomed the new mom to the “baby bubble.”

The couple, who became engaged during a romantic getaway to the South of France in August 2024, first shared their pregnancy journey with followers on Christmas Day 2025.

Throughout the spring, Roberts kept her fans updated, sharing milestones ranging from a picturesque baby shower at Easter to the physical challenges of the final trimester. In late April, she candidly opened up about a medical procedure she underwent at 22 weeks to ensure a safe delivery.

“Reaching 34 weeks was such a milestone of relief,” she shared on April 28. “While the final stretch is certainly no easy feat, I’m cherishing every moment, even though I know I’ll miss the bump once she’s here.”

Following her triumphant 2024 reunion tour with Girls Aloud, Roberts spent recent months showcasing her versatility on the stage, starring as Persephone in the West End production of Hadestown until earlier this year.
