Wuthering Waves continues to grow — Kuro Games has announced a major 2.7 update slated for release on October 9.
The centerpiece of the update is two new story acts (10 and 11) and an expanded world with fresh areas to explore: Three Hero’s Crest and Journeying Paradise.
Alongside the update, two new five-star characters will be introduced — Galbrena and Qiuyuan. The patch also brings a new Echo, Flamewing’s Shadow, and reruns of previous banners where players can reacquire Lupa and Zani.
Update 2.7 is expected to be one of the most content-packed releases in the project’s history. The developers promise more exploration opportunities, additional quests, and story expansions that advance the main narrative.
Kuro Games has also released a trailer showcasing Galbrena and Qiuyuan in action — both characters display distinct combat styles and new abilities.
