Gavin Adcock Displays Gnarly Bruise After Falling Off Stage While Shirtless: ‘It Happens’

Rising country singer Gavin Adcock took a tumble during a recent Canadian performance of his song “Deep End,” slipping off the edge of the stage and landing among fans — a fall that left a conspicuous bruise.

Video circulating from the show shows a shirtless Adcock carrying what appears to be a Jack Daniels bottle as he moves along the stage. Approaching the lip of the platform, he loses his footing and goes over headfirst, his cowboy hat scattering as he falls into the crowd.

He quickly recovered, rising to greet fans pressed against the barricade as he passed. In the comments on a clip of the incident he simply shrugged it off, writing that “it happens.”

On Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, Adcock posted a short video revealing the aftermath of the mishap — lifting his robe to show a large purple bruise on his upper thigh and quipping about the result of the fall.

He reassured followers that the injury was minor, adding that “it only hurts a little.”

Adcock is currently on tour following the August release of his album Own Worst Enemy. The past year has brought him increased attention both for his music and for outspoken comments about other artists — including a public dismissal of Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning Cowboy Carter as not being country music, and an on-site clash with Zach Bryan at a festival in September over an autograph dispute.
