Game Update 1.2.1
Greetings, 007 First Light community,
Earlier this week, we finally rolled out the much-anticipated Path Tracing update for 007 First Light. While the overwhelmingly positive response to the enhanced visuals made all our hard work worthwhile, we completely understand that optimization and framerates still need refinement.
We are actively tracking reports of performance hurdles, and our team is collaborating closely with NVIDIA to analyze diagnostics, boost efficiency, and provide clearer guidance regarding hardware specifications and graphical configurations.
Today’s hotfix marks our initial stride toward resolving these concerns, with several subsequent optimizations and patches slated for release over the coming weeks.
Thank you immensely for your continuous support, constructive feedback, and patience.

INTRODUCED WITH THE PATH TRACING UPDATE
Added native support for AMD FSR™ Upscaling (previously AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 4):
On compatible graphics hardware (specifically AMD Radeon™ RX 7000 and 9000 series cards utilizing RDNA 3 and RDNA 4 architectures), the game will now default to the cutting-edge AMD FSR™ Upscaling 4.1 whenever FSR is chosen as the preferred upscaling technique. For all other compatible GPUs, the system will seamlessly default to AMD FSR™ 3.1.
