Game That Launched the Xbox Series X Gets a Remaster With Improved Graphics

Thomas Sala, the creator of The Falconeer, announced the game will return in a reworked edition titled The Falconeer: Revolution Remaster. The refreshed version is set to launch on November 5, 2025 for PC, and Steam owners of the original will receive it free of charge.

The Falconeer was one of the launch titles for Xbox Series X and Series S and now comes back with upgraded visuals and refined effects. Both the trailer and a released screenshot showcase the refreshed look.

Players who bought the original can take part in playtests for the remaster. Everyone else will be able to experience the update on release day.

The initial release offered flights on gigantic birds, aerial combat and a brooding fantasy atmosphere. All of that returns now — rendered more beautifully and with greater detail.

A review of the original is already available on the developers’ site, offering a reminder of how this distinctive title began.
